2 Suggestions To Lift Your Mood



I received this question via a Facebook email.  To protect her she will remain anonymous.

I asked if I could share her question and my response.  She agreed and so here we go.


“Hi, I have a question for you. I have been trying to be positive and positive things are happening but every so often I just over think and find my mood dropping.. I am catching myself which is good but how do I come out of the spiral? Any suggestions?” ~ Anonymous

My response:

Dropping out of the spiral “vortex” is a good thing.

Dropping in and out of the vortex is what happens and is perfectly natural as we continue to grow.

It is wonderful and perfect that you are catching yourself.  It is ALL part of the process of awakening.
The lower energies, lower vibrations the lower mood in general are wake up signs…
saying it’s time to wake up and smell the spiritual coffee, so to speak.
Begin to snap out of it by being grateful for them
BE grateful for the downward spiral.  FEEL grateful for the feelings AND for catching yourself.
In those moments, just stop, smile and say “thank you.”…”thank you!”….”thank you!!”
“I am alive!”  Acknowledge that this is part of your growth.
Then say with such emotion, emotion similar to when you are in love with someone
(the first few weeks of new love),
Say them with the emotion similar to what you felt when you were in your 20’s getting
dressed up to go out for the night dancing with your friends…
emotion like how you feel about any little one in your life.  Make sense?
With that emotion state your gratitude for the experience overall.
With that same emotion state your gratitude for what you are seeking and
do not yet have…peace, happiness, calm, a relationship etc…
Then state with that same fiery emotion as many times as it takes…
“I choose love.”   “Only love exists”…
as many times as it takes for you to FEEL your vibration lift you higher and higher.
Another suggestion that I use is, I simply ask that my burden be cast unto…in my case,
God and my angels.
Ask that your burden be lifted by your higher power.
Lastly, when you do above…step away from the physical area that you are feeling the downward spiral.
At work? Get up and walk outside…sit in your car, etc.
At home? Get up and OUT.
This will help unhook you from the loop where you can recite your mantra from above.
Our natural state is joy.  Our ego fills us with fears and these fears are cemented by the
thoughts we repeatedly say to ourselves.
These fears keep us separated from our natural state of mind and they are not real.
You are SO MUCH MORE than these stories you tell yourself over and over again that
soak deeply in your subconscious.  You’ve practiced too long living a certain way.
These adversities that deflate your mood are your “wake up” call.
Each wake up call can either spiral you down or spiral you up toward your Divine rights
and soul’s purpose.  The power and kingdom resides within you.
